Job Description:

At Matteo, we have been designing and manufacturing in Los Angeles for 25 years. We like to say we’re cut from a different cloth. We make everything by hand right here in our factory in Boyle heights. We are deeply committed to creating jobs and building community through manufacturing.

We are looking for an experienced Wholesale Account Executive with home furnishings experience to spearhead our growing business efforts. If you have achieved organic sales growth in the lifestyle / home decor space we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all B2B sales (stores, ecommerce accounts, hospitality)

  • Meet sales goals and outline growth strategy

  • Build relationships with current customers and seek new customers

  • Local, domestic, and international travel to visit customers and attend industry events

Experience and Skills:

  • Proven track record of sales success in the home furnishings industry

  • Experience managing trade and wholesale accounts

  • Strong follow-up and ability to build business relationships

  • Solid sales presentation and communication skills

  • Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Some travel required (25%)
